All participants please pick up your free handbook. They're available in the office or from Ms. Sheppard. Reminder that students may do an educational display, however it will not qualify for awards or to advance further. The school library is open on school days from 8:00am - 4:00pm for research and computer use. Trifold display boards can be purchased from the school office.
School participants in grades K-12 can advance to the County Science Fair in Olds in March (date TBD) and grades 5-12 can advance to the Central Regional Science Fair in Red Deer (date TBD).
Judging Procedures:
Each project will be seen by at least 2 judges. Please help your child prepare for their oral presentation. Every student is required to keep a logbook of their activities throughout the project. Grades 5-12 require a project summary (please refer to the handbook). Students will get a copy of the judges' comments and may make changes to their project before competing at the next level of competition.
**If you would like to be a judge or are interested in helping with set-up or clean-up, please contact Ms. Sheppard at 403-637-3856 or csheppard@cesd73.ca
