Hi there!
I joined Cremona and CESD as Vice-Principal in 2023 and love working with our staff, students, parents, our community and building relationships. I am honoured to be part of such a dedicated school community!
I graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh in 1998 and spent the next 22 years working in educational settings in Scotland as a K-6 teacher, a literacy and numeracy learning specialist and lecturer in teacher education at the University of Dundee. I got my MEd in Leading Teaching and Learning from the University of Dundee in 2021.
My husband and I (and our 3 dogs) finally made the huge move to Cochrane in April 2020 after 18 months of hard work to make emigrating here happen. I taught in Rocky View School Division for 3 years in an elementary, then middle school before moving to Chinook’s Edge.
We are loving our life here and enjoy spending time outdoors with our (now) 4 dogs and exploring this beautiful province and beyond. I love reading, music, being outdoors, finding new places to explore and spending time with friends.
I am looking forward to a great school year!
